One of the greatest love stories brought to the movie screen - “The Notebook” - brought tears, joy and love to many. An experience you can live out with Valerie’s Picnics is “The Notebook Experience.” It brings the feel of the movie to life with your own love story, rowing a boat on the water. Might I add, it is the dreamiest looking rowboat I’ve ever laid my eyes on. Also offered, are luxury picnics which include fully set up picnics designed to your liking, with a charcuterie board, beverages, and dessert. All of this while overlooking a mesmerizing view with the person you cherish. Both experiences include a 30-minute professional photoshoot and you get 40 edited images, all included in the price.
Valerie, originally from Brainerd Area, went to school for graphic design and wanted to start a business where she was able to offer experiences. Her goal is to capture people in unique ways while doing something that isn’t very common. She didn’t want it to be a basic occurrence for her customers. This being the first summer Valerie has introduced the luxury picnics to the Brainerd Area, she is currently doing around 2 picnics a week. Valerie is thrilled to see how she can expand in the summers to come. In the months of January - April, Valerie takes her talents down to Florida to give the exact same experiences to people there.
